HDAS Saved Searches and Alerts

HDAS (Healthcare Databases Advanced Search) will be switched off on 31st March 2022.

If you have any saved searches or have set up alerts please be aware you will need to set up your searches/alerts on the new platforms ahead.  Not sure? Login and take a quick look at what is currently stored on HDAS. If what you locate is important please read on on where to set up new saved searches/alerts.

The same suite of databases will be available but via different interfaces:

EBSCO:        Cinahl, Medline

Ovid:              AMED, Embase, Emcare, HMIC,  Medline, Social Policy and Practice

Proquest:     BNI, Medline, PsycInfo

All the resources can be found via OpenAthens  – use My Resources However, to use the saved search and evidence alert you will need to set up a free account on the platform you are using.

Example: A saved search on HDAS Cinahl will need to be set up by registering on EBSCO Cinahl.

Users of Medline can choose which platform they prefer – there is no need to use all 3 platforms.
